The organisers of ICME, INTERCOM & ICOM Azerbaijan Joint Conference ‘Transforming Collecting  Policies in Museums: the Need for Leadership and Societal Responsibility’, scheduled on 14-16 October 2020 in Baku, Azerbaijan, aimed to open registration for delegates for the conference by early April, however due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis we have decided to delay registration processes.

We understand many of you have concerns about COVID-19 and travel arrangements to Azerbaijan. We are monitoring the situation which of course is changing rapidly at the present. There are currently a range of travel restrictions applying to Azarbaijn and countries all over the world and it is not possible at this stage to provide information about travel in October, nor to speculate about any amendments, postponements or cancellations to the Conference 2020 program as it is being developed.

Meanwhile, the call for proposals is extended until 30th April 2020.

The health and well-being of our delegates is at the forefront of our planning and decision-making. We will be follow all advice and requirements issued by the Azerbaijan government.
