Dear museum directors,

Museums across the globe are challenged by a combination of accelerated change and the effects of Covid-19. More than ever before, resilience and recovery in the museum sector will need leadership which is visionary and proactive.

Within this context, INTERCOM has launched the first global survey of museum leadership ever undertaken. This project has attracted widespread support with the ICOM network- it has been the successful recipient of a major SAREC grant and is negotiating to have leadership adopted as a major theme at the Prague 2022 Triennial Conference.

We need your help. Please complete the survey and distribute links below to your networks. It should be sent to Directors of Museums as these are the people whose capacity to lead others and inspire resilience will be central to the future sustainability of our sector.
