Dear Colleagues,

In November, INTERCOM, together with several National and International Committees and the African Regional Alliance, successfully launched a groundbreaking conference that will serve as a cornerstone for Africa within the ICOM network.

The conference, titled “Museum Leadership in the 21st Century: Regional Impacts and Global Challenges”, was meticulously designed in collaboration with our African colleagues to address the specific needs and challenges they identified. This initiative built seamlessly on the foundations laid by the pivotal African Directors’ Forum we organized in past years.

To give you a glimpse of the atmosphere and insights from Zambia, our colleagues have prepared this newsletter. We hope it offers you a taste of the enriching experience we shared and inspires your engagement with these vital discussions.
